Segment 1 Children are shown playing at Claremont, a day school for children with cerebral palsy in Bristol. The film shows clips from the film 'Claremont', made three years previously, and then shows the same children and how they have progressed. Young children who had to use letter tiles and word stamps to write are now shown writing by hand. One girl is shown reading aloud, the result of speech therapy. An older girl whose cerebral palsy is more severe is shown cooking using different attachments on a headband. Children are shown riding donkeys and swimming. Segment 2 A boy is shown now doing carpentry. Previous students of Claremont have since moved on to other schools, including a local grammar school, and they are shown there with the other students. One girl who graduated from Claremont is shown working in a work centre, performing factory work. Some students who have been transferred to other schools still return for physiotherapy.
