A card advertising Dr. Jayne's Expectorant (containing opium), Dr. Jayne's Tonic Vermifuge, Dr. Jayne's Sanative Pills and Dr. Jayne's Liniment which were supposed to cure colds, coughs, incipient consumption, asthma, sore throat, pleurisy, acute in flammation of the lungs or throat, whooping cough, worms, dyspepsia and restores tone to the stomach. The card shows a young woman with a cascade of brown hair in classical, flowing white robes standing amid plants, smelling what looks like white bindweed. The background is overprinted in silver.
